Recovering from last night’s loss against Golden State, the budding T-Wolves team will look to bounce back against Larry Legend’s 5-4 Pacers; Indiana, a city that has somehow remained relevant years after Peyton Manning left, and had a percentage of their population become Bucks fans over the summer, hope to continue their two game win-streak.
Listen, I like Sam Mitchell, but he won’t be running a tetragrammaton looking offense tonight, or sending a double team on the hottest player, but he has heart and the young Wolves will adhere to it (andMitchell shouldn’t have been fired in Toronto, but that’s another story). I feel confident in him leading this Wolves team, for now.
The Wolves should take advantage of the poor shooting Pacers. Indiana is 22nd in the league in FG%, and has the 27th ranked offense.
Paul George and MAPLE JORDAN
First: shoutout to my man PG13 for coming back strong after a horrible 2014. That injury during the Team USA scrimmage left his leg looking like the Pacers’ outcome tonight. Even though George lost out on potentially winning future son-in-law of the year, he looks great playing at the four this year; George in 36 minutes per game is registering a team high of 23.8ppg with career-high in free throws attempts with 7.1. Wiggins has his work cut out for him tonight. Look, I ain’t biased at all, but the future mayor of Toronto that’s going to get paid in full like a Kentucky recruit when he enters contract talks with the Wolves, will put up a some monster stat-line tonight. When he isn’t indulging in Canadian Maple Syrup, Wiggins has been averaging nearly 20ppg (19.7), and shooting 39% from 3.
Things to watch out for
- KAARL is going make Jordan Hill look like he has the basketball awareness of a LEGO piece.
- Zach Lavine is going to start tonight against George Hill. I like Hill, but nobody on that roster has love for him; this Guy Fieri superfan needs to be dunked on tonight.
- Wiggins’ revenge game for having his bobblehead night butchered.
